Richard Hart, a British baker and chef.
He is the founder of Green Rhino, an incredible bakery in Mexico City, and co-founder of Hart Bageri in Copenhagen, alongside René Redzepi, the chef behind Noma.
In addition, he serves as the Executive Baker & Creative Director of Claridge’s Bakery in London.
His book, ‘Richard Hart Bread: Intuitive Sourdough Baking,’ won the 2025 James Beard Book Award in the Baking and Desserts category—one of the most prestigious accolades in US gastronomy— won the craft in the 2026 Guild of Food Writers Awards and an award from La Liste for innovation.
Richard’s impact has even reached television: in the acclaimed series ‘The Bear,’ his bakery, Hart Bageri, makes an appearance on the show, and his photo is pinned to the workstation of the character Marcus.
